We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Warehouse Assistant to join our client, a reputable company based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for experienced warehouse professional to utilise and develop their skills within a dynamic and growing organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, supporting stock management, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods in a busy environment. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of organisation, safety, and efficiency, contributing significantly to the company's overall performance.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or senior warehouse roles, ideally within a similar industry
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities to coordinate with team members and other departments
- To support the company ISO Accreditation, Health and Safety and Risk Assessments where appropriate
- Competence in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, if applicable
- Ability to manage stock levels, perform inventory checks, and oversee order fulfilment
- To travel when and where necessary if required.
- A basic understanding of ISO9001, Health & Safety requirements
- Proactive approach with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
